It does. It’s like a musician with a violin or the piano, it’s like a painter with brushes. Knowing your medium, practicing it over and over again, it becomes an extention of you and it’s deciding on your palette – black and white or what color palette you want, these are all choices that you have to complete visualization. So it’s very important for me. I’m known for black and white, but I’m more and more fascinated with color and there’s play in it. N ow I use color and it’s very monochromatic and I’m very fascinated with that point when color and black and white dance with each other. Knowing a medium and technology is important, but I’m not obsessed with it.
